Franz Bardon (1909-1958) was a Czech occultist (1.6 degree initiate) who was overshadowed by the Master Who was Hermes to write this book (Benjamin Creme in Share International No.6, July/August 2005, p.38).
This volume, according to the author, is a description of the true meaning of the first Tarot card.
First English edition published in 1962 by Osiris Verlag (Western Germany). A new, improved translation was published in 2001 as Initiation into Hermetics. The Path of the True Adept. Volume 1 of the Holy Mysteries.
