"If you put an impossible question, your mind then has to find the answer in terms of the impossible... The impossible question is this: can the mind empty itself of the Known? -- itself, not you empty the mind. That is an impossible question."
    In the seven talks and ensuing discussions with his audience held in Saanen in the summer of 1970, Krishnamurti explores the origin of thought, the difference between the mind and the brain, enlightenment, relationship between people, et cetera, bringing them together by asking what self-knowledge is.
