Notes
"The land of Mu was a large continent situated in the Pacific ocean between America and Asia, its center lying somewhat south of the equator." (p.15) In this second installment in his series about Mu, James Churchward describes the colonial expansion of this civilization and the "flying machines" that they used in doing so, as referenced in ancient Hindu and other scriptures.
When Desmond Leslie was doing research for his book on UFOs (Flying Saucers Have Landed, co-authored with George Adamski) this volume was recommended to him by Maitreya in the guise of a bookshop proprietor on Museum Street, London. Leslie described the incident in his book on p.84 (1953 ed.), which was confirmed by Benjamin Creme in Share International No.6, July/August 2005, p.37.
The first UK edition was published by Rider & Co. (no date).
Col Churchward wrote two further works on Mu, entitled Sacred Symbols of Mu (1933), and Cosmic Forces As They Were Taught in Mu (Vol.1, 1934; Vol.2, 1935).
