In this book the Master DK, on p.316, references Anne Besant (1904), A Study in Consciousness.

The Master DK, in the Alice Bailey teachings, is trying to awaken the intuition; to hold before our minds, and so stimulate our intuition, our aspiration, our idealistic faculty, the notion that there is above us as souls areas of being, of knowledge, of awareness, of which we are as yet unaware."
