This book is dedicated to H.P. Blavatsky, "that great Disciple who lighted her torch in the East and brought the Light to Europe and America in 1875," and is said to be "the psychological key to the Cosmic Creation".
    In this treatise the Master Djwhal Khul discusses 'fire' on three planes -- the physical, the mental and the spiritual -- as a system of philosophy which will link both Spirit and matter.
    In Section Three, Division C, the Master Djwhal Khul gives seven stanzas "out of the oldest book in the world, and one which the eye of the average man has never contacted". (See also the notes for H.P. Blavatsky, Two Books of the Stanzas of Dzyan.)

It is also in this volume that the Master DK references Bhagavan Das' The Science of Social Organisation (1910).
