Notes
A more scholarly introduction to Sathya Sai Baba (1926-2011) and the spiritual path, in which the author sets out to define Sai Baba's place in history and draws parallels between His teachings and those of the major religions.
In Chapter 4 there is a reference to Sathya Sai's next incarnation as Prema Sai: "Finally, Sathya Sai states, there will be Prema Sai who, one year after the passing of the Sathya Sai form, will be born in the state of Karnataka (formerly Mysore State), at a place between Bangalore and the city of Mysore."
This is a revised and updated edition of Sai Baba: Invitation to Glory (Macmillan India, 1982), first published in the UK by Sawbridge Enterprises in 1983.
Howard Murphet also wrote Sai Inner Views and Insights - Thirty Years With the Avatar (1996), and a number of other books, among which When Daylight Comes (Theosophical Publishing House, 1975), about Madame Blavatsky, and a book about life after death, entitled Beyond Death: The Undiscover'd Country (Theosophical Publishing House, 1990).
Referenced in Benjamin Creme, The Ageless Wisdom Teaching, p.62 (1996ed).
